Migrating Assets
How to Create our Project
Open your library in Epic Games Launcher and search for our assets you want to add. If there is an update available, it will be shown here.
Click Update If it is needed, but be careful. Updates may be incompatible with previous versions. To learn more visit Updating Products. Then click Create Project. You will face this error, just give your project a correct name and it will fix this.
Open Project, wait until it compiles and you will be ready to go!
How to Add Our Assets to Your Project
Open project you just created.
Select Easy Biomes folder, right click and choose migrate. Press OK in opened window and navigate to the Content folder of your project (Replace everything if there are some conflicting files, our assets are sharing some files, so that’s normal to replace them).
Open downloaded project in windows explorer and find DefaultEngine.ini in Config folder.
Replace DefaultEngine.ini in your project with one from our project. If you still want use your DefaultEngine.ini you can manually enable everything that is crucial for our assets in your project settings:
Default RHI - DirectX 12
Nanite - Yes
Shadow Method - Virtual Shadow Maps
Enable Virtual Texture Support
Enable Virtual Textures For Opacity Masks
Trace Channels - You need to manually copy them from our project
Open your project enable PCG Plugins and press Restart Now
You have completed migration!
